OUR BOOKKEEPING SERVICES
CUSTOMERS AND INVOICES
We can set up customers and then invoice by product, service or time. SAGE will then track the aging of your accounts receivables. If you use Quotes, we can set them up, convert the Quotes to Orders, and then convert the Orders to Invoices. Deposits on Orders can be accepted and tracked accordingly.
VENDORS AND EXPENSES
We can set up suppliers and post expenses on a regular basis. We also manage recurring expenses and calculate depreciation. If you use Purchase Orders, we can manage those too, and match up incoming invoices to your POs. Sage will then track the aging of your Accounts Payable.
PAYMENTS AND RECEIPTS
We can post receipts from customers and issue payments to vendors. We also manage deposits, credits, cash discounts, and interest charges. With SAGE, you'll always know what your current cash and bank balances are. Cash flow statements for future planning can be maintained as well.
PAYROLL MANAGEMENT
We can manage payroll requirements, include compensation calculations, EI/CPP and tax deductions, vacation pay, and company benefits as well as T4s and ROEs. Employees can be paid by cheque or by direct deposit.
TAX REMITTANCES
We will ensure that you stay current with your tax remittances, including payroll deductions , HST Returns, and corporate tax payments. Remittances can be made online or by cheque. We can also manage your T4s and ROEs.
BANK RECONCILIATIONS
We can reconcile your bank statements, credit card statements and cash-on-hand balances with your balances in SAGE or Quickbooks to ensure that every penny is accounted for. Corrections and Adjusting Entries can be made accordingly.
We can also do T1, T2, T3 preparation, personal, corporate, and trust returns, tax dispute resolution, and can act as your Audit liaison.
Dave Maguire has an MBA, and has managed bookkeeping in Sage/Simply Accounting for over 15 years, including payables, receivables, payments, payroll, tax remittances, bank reconciliations, and company set-ups. Dave is also an Instructor for beginner and advanced Sage training.
Frank Madden is an experienced professional in the financial services industry with over thirty years of experience in personal taxation including estates & trusts as well as public and corporate taxation and accounting. Frank was also an employee of Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for several years specializing in the areas of personal and small business taxes.
